Right to Cancellation and Returns Policy – Scarlet Vintage.

For those customers residing within European Union member states, you have the right to cancel your order up to seven days after ordering your items, or seven days after receiving your chosen items, whichever is the later.

To cancel your order you must contact Scarlet Vintage immediately by email; enquiries@scarletvintage.co.uk – we will not accept telephone cancellations. We will email you a receipt to notify you with have received your cancellation. Please include: name, address, price of item, product code and reason for refund.

If you decide to cancel your order, after your chosen goods have been delivered to you, then you will be responsible for returning the goods to Scarlet Vintage at your own expense (to the above address).

Throughout the period of cancellation the customer is to retain possession of the items and to take reasonable care of them, on behalf of Scarlet Vintage. The goods must be returned to Scarlet Vintage with their original clothes tags still attached and in their original condition. They must be free of odours, pet hairs or marks.  You must also take care that the returned goods are not damaged in any way.

Once you have informed Scarlet Vintage in writing that you wish to cancel your order, then when we receive the items and provided they are in good condition and with tags attached, Scarlet Vintage will refund the customer to the value of the goods and shipping, but not the cost of return shipping.

In the case of a customer returning items to Scarlet Vintage using our Right to Cancellation and Returns Policy, where the returned item is reported to have been lost in transit, then the customer must provide Scarlet Vintage with the proof of postage certificate to enable us to make a claim against Royal Mail/courier.
